Free 85-90 MoP Leveling guide

Can anyone recommend a good FREE leveling guide for MoP? I used to use Jame's and other ones on WoWPro, but don't know of any that are ready to go for MoP launch.

I intend to get loremaster of MoP and would like to systematically do all the quests for each zone as I go. Your recommendations are appreciated.

Wow Pro's addon guides will be ready for launch.  The guides that used to be made that could be printed, they havent been to my knowledge.  The addon is the wave of the future :)  (Since I made the guides... I am pretty sure they will all be ready <Grin>(...unless Blizzard does more last minute changes. <sigh> every time I go thru a zone a quest or three has been added/changed or deleted.)

I suppose if you .like to have a printed guide, you could print the addon's source page for each zone, it has coordinates, Quest names and guest givers.  (But I think it would be painful to do it that way)

I use the Quest Completist addon and it has been updated for 5.0.4.

I've played through the beta to get to 90 and the quest chains are fairly well laid out.  The chains I couldn't complete were bugged so I didn't get though all of them.  But just questing through the zones with the quests that were working got me 3 of the 6 zone achievements.  And I stopped during Dread Waste since I dinged 90 most of the way through that zone.

My only advice would be to watch your zone mini-cheevos (i.e. in MoP you get zone credit for completing the major quest chains in the zone instead of completing some number of quests).  You probably don't need every mini-cheevo but you will need a whole bunch of them  to get to 90 via questing only.

If you are interested in getting as many quests completed as possible I would suggest using the two addons Wholly and Grail.  Grail is the database of quests and efforts are being made to ensure it has all the breadcrumb quests, incompatibilities, etc. mapped out for release.  Wholly will warn you if you are about to take a quest that still has a breadcrumb available for it because Grail provides this information.  Also, Grail is very smart and knows things like you will only be able to get one version of "The Rider's Journey" which is a level 90 quest in Jade Forest.  Of course as you interact with the quest giver you will be able to change the dragon color you want, and Wholly will update its UI live as you change the dragon color to show you the quest you now have available.

I would suggest the use of the WoWPro addons for guiding through questing.  For the most part  you will get all the quests you need.  However, with Wholly also present you can be warned of missing breadcrumbs.  In fact, there are efforts to integrate some of Grail's functionality into WoWPro, but when that will be available is not known.

Wow Guys: 85-90 leveling feedback (guildless)

"I decided to do a run guildless with the changes of patch 16010 which was like 2 days ago.

This run was made guildless & half a bubble of rested xp.

85-86 Jade Forest

I hit 86 with 3 hubs left which were the orchard southwest, the serpent's shrine & temple of the jade serpent.

86-87 Krasarang/Valley

I did Krasarang first to see how much xp it would give & it only gave 60% of the level. I then moved on to Valley & hit 87 with half the zone left which was a total of 7 hubs (tillers/cooking included).

87-88 Kun-Lai Summit

I hit 88 on the last hub just before the quest with that big barrel at the end.

88-89 Townlong Steppes

I came up short 4 bubbles after doing the entire zone. I then went back to finish Jade Forest & 1 out of 7 hubs that were left in Valley & hit 89.

89-90 Dread Wastes

I came up short 3 bubbles & a half after doing the entire zone (dailies included). I then went back to Valley & hit 90 with just 5 quests left in the zone.

To be honest I think no changes needs to be made anymore unless doing both Krasarang & Valley isn't intended.

People who are guildless will have to basically do every single quest from each zones. Those with guild perks will be able to make choices on their way to 90. Sounds good to me"

How to Get Vial of the Sands Mount in World of Warcraft(WOW)? Where to buy a Vial of the Sands online?

The Vial of the Sands is a brand new flying mount in Cataclysm that transforms you into a dragon, with the added ability to give someone a ride. Wrath of the Lich King brought us the Mekgineer’s Chopper, and with Cataclysm comes the flying version! Being able to show off this amazing mount doesn’t come cheap, though. If you’ve got the gold and time to farm the materials (or more gold to buy some of them) then here’s a quick checklist for obtaining a Vial of the Sands mount.

How to Get?

Gathering the Materials
You’ll need several expensive materials to assemble a Vial of the Sands (or have someone else assemble it):
  • 1 Pyrium-Laced Crystalline Vial: Obtained from the Innkeeper at Ramkahen for 5,000g (4,000g at exalted).
  • 8 Sands of Time: Obtained from the same Innkeeper for 3,000g each (2,400g each at exalted).
That is 23,200g worth of mats that you must purchase from the vendor at exalted! You’ll also need the following other items:
  • 12 Truegold
  • 8 Flask of the Winds
  • 8 Flask of Titanic Strength
  • 8 Deepstone Oil
Depending on your server’s economy, this is roughly another 10,000g worth of materials. You can save a lot of gold having an alchemist craft these for you, but keep in mind that Truegold has a daily cooldown.
Once you’ve spent over 30,000 gold on the materials, there are two ways you can turn them into a Vial of the Sands. There’s the easy way – find someone to craft it for you. Then there’s the hard way – craft it yourself!

Crafting a Vial of the Sands: Alchemy & Archaeology
You’ll need to have 525 Alchemy and Archaeology in order to obtain the recipe for Vial of the Sands. The only way to find the recipe is a random chance when opening a Canopic Jar. The Canopic Jar is one of several different Tol’vir artifacts you can find fragments for in Uldum. Every time you complete this jar, you have a small chance of getting the recipe if you’re a maxed alchemist.
The lack of Tol’vir dig sites and small chance of obtaining this recipe make this a time consuming process, even more so if you don’t have either of these two professions leveled up. If you’re somewhat sane, you’ll take the easy route instead:

Have Someone Else Craft It (Don’t Forget to Tip Them Well!)
If you don’t want to spend hours farming for the formula, just find someone else who has it. Be thankful that someone out there is insane enough to put in the time required to obtain these special items! A good tip for crafting a Vial of the Sands is at least 1000g. If it would have taken you 100 hours to farm for the recipe (a very conservative estimate) then 10g per hour is a very small price to pay for saving all that time!

Where to Buy?

I got my Vial of the Sands from guy4game.I’ve bought from guy4game many times. Bought a few lvl 378 boe gears and several amounts of gold and i’m about to buy some more from guy4game. WoW MoP Leveling Guide

The ultimate question for when Mists of Pandaria official hits stores is: What’s the fastest way to hit the new level 90 cap? Followed by: How will leveling up in Mists of Pandaria be like in comparison to Cataclysm or WotLK?
First and foremost, the new level 90 cap takes gamers through new leveling zones. Level 85 to 86 features the highly anticipated Jade Forest – an all new Pandaria zone for the expansion, untouched by the devastating effects of the years long war between the alliance and horde. Then from levels 86 to 88, gamers get to venture the Valley of the Four Winds to gather in leveling experience points. From levels 87 to 89, Mists of Pandaria introduce gamers to Kun-Lai Summit, a huge snow capped mountain. Then for the final 2 levels, 89 to 90, leveling points can be earned from either Townlong Steppes or Dead Wastes. Don’t forget the Vale of Eternal Blossoms as well which is accessible after level 89.
All the new zones features new storyline to take gamers through quests while leveling up. One thing for sure is Blizzard has yet again designed a spotless, seamless expansion in terms of intriguing gamers with the plot while at the same time progressing through the levels.
